A Houston sample and hidden gem in plain sight. If you buy, we fry needed a standard set. This place sets the temp for sure. The ONLY complaint is that I can never get through the phone line to place orders to go. However, I don't mind going to place orders as the wait is usually fairly short, and orders are cooked fresh upon request. There's sometimes a bit of traffic, but again, with a short patience, you'll be rewarded.
Don't judge this place by its appearance—it's not a traditional sit-down restaurant, and it was never meant to be. T.P. Seafood is an authentic fish market that also serves up delicious, freshly cooked seafood. The steady flow of customers says it all! Whether you're looking to buy fresh seafood to prepare at home or want it cooked for you on the spot, you can count on it being top-quality and full of flavor. I recommend a few pounds of shrimp, oysters, and catfish fried. Too busy eating always forget to take pics.
I’ve been going Tps since a child haven’t been in years but today I ordered the butter garlic wings with a side of fries..honey don’t walk but run to get those wings. Crispy and packed with flavor!
Let’s be real—this spot is in the heart of the Hood. It’s a fish market that also serves up hot, fresh food, and you know it’s good because everyone from the Hood is there. The food is absolutely delicious!
This place is a staple in the community. If you are looking for 5 star dining, this is not it. However, the food is always good and cook to order. It's one of my favorite OG spots in Houston. Customer service is always great.
The food is so delicious. They prepare it while you wait so it comes out hot and fresh. We had the trout plate with the monk rice which is highly recommended. This place is located in a tough part of town. Friday evenings are very crowded. Most people get their order to go. There are only 4 booths for dine in.
